Collecting Sign Ups and Making People Move

Description

Rees Leisure takes a conversational lead generation approach to collecting sporting event sign ups with great results.

We had the pleasure to speak with Dan Rourke from UK-based Rees Leisure

Rees Leisure gets people moving by organizing sporting events and opportunities that benefit the local communities’ health, wealth and wellbeing. These include marathons, cycling events and a swim school, just to name a few.

Challenge

After joining the marketing team, Dan explored the option to implement a chatbot. The intentions withered as a potential tech provider didn’t seem responsive. Dan thought to himself that moving forward would just add extra hassle. But he still needed something that would bring more sign ups to their events and activities.

Solution

Some time after, Dan met our team at the Hampshire Business Show.

“We started talking, and the InpageBot really began to feel like an interesting option for covering our needs. That’s where our collaboration started.”

Following the onboarding, we agreed to implement InpageBots that bring the interactive conversation seamlessly to the page content and ChatBots (the traditional pop-up in the corner).

To begin with, the biggest focus was put on the Wessex Swim School site, but bots are also actively helping visitors find information about for example the Southampton Sporterium. The combination of global chatbots and more specifically placed bots gives visitors the chance to choose how they wish to find information and contact Rees Leisure’s teams.

“The service is really high-quality – responses are quick and the experience on our side has been very smooth. I have talked to around 5 people from the team, and it’s impressive how all of them have been keen and able to help us out.”

Results

The team at Rees Leisure was positively surprised to see that the bots didn’t cannibalize on leads that come through their original contact forms – new leads just meant new business.

  • 30-35 sign ups per week (compared to 10-20 before bots)
  • Easier for site visitors to find information and get answers
  • Better overall customer experience

“We’ve been able to build and adjust the bots on our own. Originally, I thought it would require extensive experience with the platform, but it turned out to be very simple with the bot builder.”

“I recommend Leadoo MT and their bots to pretty much anyone who is looking for more than just search rankings and website visitors. The bots bring results and add a friendly, quality touch to the website.”
